Hospitality and Networking

The AGM hospitality room, the central hub of activity, will be accessible daily on the 9th floor, operating extended hours due to its location away from most guest rooms.

Special Events and Activities

• Whisky Tasting Event: As a continuing tradition, guests are invited to a Whisky Tasting event on Wednesday evening, showcasing premium Scotch selections. Separate registration is required for this event.
• Grand Prize Drawing: A highlight of the AGM is the grand prize drawing for a 5-day personal tour of Scotland, which will take place during the banquet dinner on September 28th. Tickets are priced at $10 each and are available for purchase now. It’s important to buy early as there are a limited number available. It is not necessary to be present to win.

Wednesday, September 25th

• Noon-6 PM: Registration in the lobby.
• 1 PM till closing: The Hospitality Room opens.
• 6 PM: Whisky Tasting in Meeting Room A (tickets required).

Thursday, September 26th

• Daytime Activities: Includes a tour of the Tampa Riverwalk, a picnic lunch, and a walking pub crawl in Dunedin.
• Evening: Hospitality Room reopens.

Friday, September 27th

• Morning: Tour of Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks.
• Afternoon: Ceilidh event with a theme of Calypso.

Saturday, September 28th

• Morning: Small break-out sessions featuring weapons and arms demonstrations, introductions to Scottish Gaelic, and Scottish history. Speakers include Todd Johnson, James McDonald V, and Brian Collie.
• Afternoon: Clan Donald USA AGM (Annual General Meeting).
• Evening: Cocktail Reception, Formal Banquet, and Tartan Ball. The grand prize drawing for the Scottish tour will be conducted by Brian Collie.
