In March, 1983, the Scottish American Society of South Florida was born with a membership of about twenty people. Since then, the Southeast Florida Scottish Festival & Highland Games has hosted performers such as Alex Beaton, Alasdair Fraser, Natalie McMaster, Seven Nations, Albannach. The festival has also hosted the 78th Fraser Highlanders, Strathclyde Police Pipe Bands, Oviedo Pipe Band from Spain, sheepherding with Quinn Tindall and Stuart Ballantyne. We believe this is one of the most cultural and colorful events in South Florida. Come spend a special day in “Scotland” with us.
